No reason to give remote access to admins within commuting distance? You have to be kidding. I have no life as it is and if every time there was a 5 minute problem I had to drive in (a 20 to 30 minute drive) that turns it into over an hour and a half out of my day.

IT people are currently being asked to work record amounts of time to make up for the cuts in personell. Remote access is vital in maintaining sanity for some of us.
