Job Description: Summary of duties and responsibilities:

Develop a corporate-wide Disaster Recovery Plan and make updates to Carhartt’s existing DR plan to reflect current global business operations. Conduct accurate evaluation of the level of security required and maintains the disaster recovery plan including coordination of the annual disaster recovery test.

Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Develop a corporate-wide Disaster Recovery plan and Information Security Policies and Procedures manual to ensure the safety of information system’s assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.

• Coordinate the efforts of staff members in each area within each facility in the development of procedures for the continuity of business processes in a disaster situation.

• Perform risk mitigation analysis for corporate functional areas to identify points of vulnerability and recommend disaster avoidance and reduction strategies.

• Develop and maintain security systems and practices to protect the integrity, availability, confidentiality, and recoverability of data and information across all technology platforms (i5, client/server, web, etc) within Carhartt.

• Facilitate security awareness programs among staff so that information is treated as an asset, and develops and supports training in multiple facilities.

• Maintain a system of management reporting that provides timely and relevant information on all aspects of the computer security function.

• Participate in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department.
Job Requirements: Qualifications:

Competencies:

Education

Bachelors Degree in Information Management, or related field is required equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) professional certification is preferred

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Information Systems Security and Disaster Recovery Planning is required.
